MCACC by the Numbers

Senior Lab

In recent years...

We have seen a decline in overall animal intake numbers. At the same time, we have been able to adopt out or relocate a higher percentage of the animals that do come through our doors – MCACC has been maintaining an average annual save rate of 94% or higher since 2017.

These positive trends have allowed us to reevaluate and adjust our approaches to try save more lives and find forever homes for the shelter pets in our care. MCACC has also been focused on providing more support services to help pet owners keep their pets in their homes instead of surrendering them due to hardships.
