2021 Community Needs Assessment

Maricopa County as a Community Action Agency needs to conduct a Community Needs Assessment every three years to be in compliance with federal Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) requirements. The Assessment provides an opportunity to identify strengths and resources in the community, as well as the needs that communities have. Focus groups, community surveys, and interviews are conducted with various stakeholders to gain an understanding of experiences and existing services. The Community Needs Assessment is the first phase of the Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) Cycle used to create Maricopa County’s Strategic Plan.
