Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants (JAG)

Federal funds awarded through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants Program (JAG) to target crime-fighting and crime reduction initiatives are administered by JSPI. JAG funds support initiatives in the following areas:

  • Law Enforcement
  • Crime Lab-Forensics
  • Crime Prevention
  • Community Corrections
  • Prosecution
  • Public Defense
  • Crime Victim and Witness Programs (Other Than Compensation)

Friends of the Court
Friends of the Court is a charitable corporation focused on supporting specialty/problem solving courts within Maricopa County Superior Court. Funds are raised through grants and donations and used to support the work of specialty/problem solving courts. JSPI provides assistance in administering funds derived from Friends of the Court.
