Rental Assistance


Facing Eviction? Need help coming up with a deposit?

The Maricopa County Community Services Division administers a  rental assistance program for residents of Maricopa County, Outside of the cities of Phoenix, Mesa, & Glendale. We do not serve residents of the cities of Phoenix, Mesa or Glendale as those geographic areas have their own programs responsible for providing services to those communities.

Qualifying residents of Maricopa county that submit an application may receive assistance with deposits on their new rental home or a one month payment to assist them in staying in their current residence.

If residents are interested in applying for the Rental Assistance program please contact your local agency using the geolocator and schedule an appointment. In order to submit an application the resident would need to provide the following documents:

  1. Photo Identification of the applicant
  2. Social Security Cards for all household members
  3. Documentation of U.S. Citizenship or lawful residency of the applicant
  4. Documentation of Household Income received in the 30 days prior to and including appointment date
  5. Latest Utility Bills for Gas and Electrical usage of residence
  6. Verification of a Crisis Reason (Explanation: Verification of the reason for delinquency)
