  1. Dental Sealants

    Maricopa County's Office of Oral Health administers the Arizona Department of Health Services' School-Based Dental Sealant Program.

  2. Family Resources & Referrals

    Learn how health is being promoted in Maricopa County with oral health programs, Healthy Start, WIC, Nurse Family Partnership and newborn intensive care.

  3. Fluoride Varnish (0-5)

    Maricopa County’s Office of Oral Health administers First Teeth First, a First Things First funded program, which provides basic oral screenings, education and referrals at no cost to pregnant women and children 0-5 years of age. Eligible children can also receive fluoride varnish.

  4. Nutrition & Physical Activity

    Through a partnership with the Arizona Nutrition Network, the Office of School Health and Wellness Initiatives provides nutrition and physical activity technical support and resources to school staff, teachers, students, and their parents at over 200 schools within Maricopa County.

  5. Teen Health

    The Maricopa County Teen Health Program in the Office of School Health and Wellness Initiatives works with teens around Maricopa County to equip them with information and resources needed to gain important life skills and successfully transition into adulthood.

  6. Youth Tobacco Prevention

    The Youth Tobacco Prevention Program in the Office of School Health and Wellness Initiatives helps Maricopa County youth advance tobacco-free living in their schools and communities.

    Public Health offers training and education to employers interested in promoting worksite wellness.
