  1. Health & Social Services

    All too frequently veterans are unable to prevent entering into the County’s homeless population. The Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) is integral to providing health care services for homeless individuals and families, including veterans, throughout Maricopa County.

  2. Find Help Phoenix

    Maricopa County Public Health sponsors the Find Help Phoenix - Finding Resources for Ourselves site intended to serve as a one stop resource center for free and low-cost health and social services. Their site compiles all types of resources, with a section designated for veterans, and includes map references to all listed resources.

  3. Veterans Crisis Line

    Veterans Crisis Line professionals are specially trained and experienced in helping veterans of all ages and circumstances. Many are veterans themselves and understand what veterans and their families and friends have been through and the challenges veterans of all ages and service eras face.

  4. Homelessness

    Maricopa County’s Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) is integral to providing services, including transitional and permanent housing services, for homeless individuals and families, including veterans, throughout our community.

  5. Living With HIV / AIDS

    There are several programs and grants available through the Ryan White Foundation to anyone who is living with HIV or AIDS and meet the income requirements to qualify.

  6. Coordinated Social Service Events

    Veterans’ StandDown events are 1 - 3 day events that bring together the State's homeless and at-risk military veterans, connecting them with services.

  7. Animal Care

    Maricopa County Animal Care and Control offers several free services to the citizens of Maricopa County
